Wanstead

A photo of our Meeting HouseWelcome to Wanstead Quaker Meeting

The Quaker form of worship is based on silent waiting.

We worship together every Sunday from 11.00am to 12.00 noon.

After the first ten minutes children and young people have their own programme of activities but come back just before 12 noon.

Usually there will be about 40 of us and we often have visitors too.  Newcomers are very welcome - just come along and someone will be on the door to welcome you.

You can see us on the map - the nearest underground station is Leytonstone (Central Line).

On the first Wednesday of each month we hold 'Quaker Wednesday'

Programme includes:

Labyrinth walk, 10-11.30 am
Coffee and conversation, 11-11.45 am
Meeting for Worship, 12-12.45 pm
Shared lunch (bring something to share if possible)
Afternoon activities are sometimes arranged too

No need to book. All welcome - for all or part of the day
